New Year, New EP!

At long last, after several attempts at recording a follow-up to ‘Ireland Bridge‘ over the last few years (which have mostly ended in disaster – story to follow!), I am delighted to say that the new 5 track EP ‘Tune Chaser‘ will be out on the 1st February 2020!

A mix of five varied traditional and original tracks featuring Uilleann Pipes (Flat set in B and concert set in D), Anglo & Duet Concertinas, Fiddle and Whistles accompanied by Steve Lacey (Guitar), Hugh Bradley (Fretless Bass), Stewart Shearer (Banjo, Mandolin, Electric Guitars & Piano), Leigh Stothard (Drums). Recorded and mixed by the rather wonderful Steve Smith of Kimbers Men fame up at Smithsound Sowerby, who also contributed some American Reed Organ to the mix, and mastered by Sam Proctor Music Production. Cover Photography by Keelan T Scott.

AVAILABLE FROM BANDCAMP AND OUR ONLINE SHOP FROM 01-02-2020. PREORDERS LIVE NOW via our online shop (Paypal) here

Date for your Diary – 18/10/2019, supporting Gilmore & Roberts.

Delighted to be supporting Gilmore & Roberts presented by BGR events at their Wadsworth Community Centre venue in Hebden Bridge where I shall be playing a few tunes on various sets of pipes and whistles, accompanied by Steve Lacey on guitar who may even be persuaded to do a song!

Gilmore & Roberts need no introduction, and you are assured of a good night in their company. But please come along and support the BGR Events series of concerts – they continually put on quality folk acts in a great venue, with a very reasonable bar, lovely food available and a great crowd who appreciate their music. On top of all this they raise a great deal of money for local charities. Great! ❤
