First Moscow solo gigs

We were very proud to present the very first Becky Taylor solo performances in Moscow this August.

Events  included a solo Northumbrian Smallpipe recital at the Theatre Gonzaga, Krasnogorsky region, Arkhangelskoye village as part of their ‘British Night’on the 11th and a full set (solo) performance alongside Moscow band Blind Harper  on the 17th at Dance studio TIR. A masterclass for Uilleann pipes, Whistle and Northumbrian Smallpipes was held before the event on the 17th.

The event was a great success and sold out. We hope to be able to return for another concert in a bigger venue  later in the year or early 2013

fROOTS Ireland Bridge CD Review

Becky Taylor Ireland Bridge (own label 880992 14004 1)

Already a noted exponent of uilleann and Northumbrian smallpipes and whistle, Becky’s expertise now also encompasses piano, duet concertina and fiddle, all the while sharpening her arranging skills. Becky’s musicianship emerges fresh every time on this, her second CD, aided by Dave Wood (guitar) and others. Sparky, much alive and of constant interest.
